Dr Fierce's Data Lair

Was it a dream?...

Wow... First vacation in a year.

I had a really nice road trip with my three passengers. Stayed in a nice little motel.

I also got a chance to see my favorite place in the whole world.

It felt almost like a dream. If not a dream, then a really pleasant coma.

Revisting the Lair after an extended absence...

The good Dr. has been absent from this blog for an extended period of time.

So, the Data Lair needs to get cleaned up, systems back on line and the plan for curing what ills the planet in operation once again.

But I don't want to be too ambitious... Before all this hard work, I'll pace myself and watch an interesting trailer.

Dang...

You'd be right in writing to me: "That's a pretty long fscking time between posts, there Dr. Fierce, WTF?"

Well, the good Dr. was busy, very busy getting used to a new country and doing different things than before. This has meant some really long hours were caffeine was completely necessary. Of course, I did ensure I stayed shy of the amount of caffeine that would kill me.

Well, it's been a slice. Gotta wrap up 2005. I'll write some more tomorrow. Promise.

Too many questions...

I've been asked to many questions today.

I want to ask questions to see if someone can read my mind. Hmmm... Whom to ask? I know, let's ask Darth Vader.

Darth's a pretty amazing guy. Plays Jeopardy as well, yup.

Where did the time go?

Well, time didn't go anywhere, it's a figure of speech.

However, it's the end of another day here at DrFierce's data lair and it's unreal to see how fast time has flown by.

Looking at the clock on the wall, it doesn't appear that there is a quantum malfunction in the universe that is making time go any faster.

Nonetheless, there's this feeling that much more would've been accomplished if time had been better spent and that it'd be real cool if there was somehow a way to go back in time...

At the end of a wet, dreary, stormy kind of day...

It's been a long, dreary, rainy, wet, stormy kind of day.

Here at DrFierce's data lair, we like to unwind by listening to a little bit of Internet radio, whether Canadian or from around the world.

Heck, sometimes we don't want to listen to radio, but to streamed music.

And sometimes we definitively want more.

But of course, we should be polite to coworkers, friends and family, so we should always wear some headphones.
